During the summer, it feels like our house heats up in the evening when we open up the windows
to cool off. It feels like the heat is just stores in the attic during the day and radiates down on us at night. Cool air is coming in the windows but the house still heats up.

That’s why I think an attic fan could help. Plus it would be very cheap and easy to put one in right now compared to a whole house fan. But if I did that now, would that mean I couldn’t do a whole house fan later without getting rid of the attic fan? I like the idea of a whole house fan I just don’t want to deal with it right now.
