Will I regret not spending the money for an NRS Otter or Hyside raft? Or would I be okay with the cheaper PVC boats like an NRS Outlaw/Star or Aire Tributary?

PVC is lighter than rubber and more common now. It holds up just fine.

I've got a hypalon boat. If you're not doing whitewater, durabilty is no issue
