Nissan just started digging Infiniti’s grave...

Nissan has released the news that it's getting rid of all its unique Infinity platforms. This includes all of its rear-wheel-drive coupe and sedans.

Infiniti's will now just be 'Nissan-plus' cars... normal Nissan cars but an Infinity badge. They have slowly been moving this direction (QX80 is now just an Armada) but its Sedans have always been their own platform. Its what made Infinity cars like the 1990's M35 and Q45 so fun.

RIP..

No.. Accura and Lexus both use separate platforms.. not standard Honda & Toyotas

Accura does platform share across a lot of the models (which is an issue for them competing in the space) and the Lexus

I don't think any of their RWD vehicle platforms are shared, at least in the US. All of their SUVs are. The NSX and RL
