The quality of inflatable kayaks is varied. Cheap inflatables are like pool toys and last just as long. Perhaps the best in the industry are Alpacka inflatable rafts. Kokopelli rafts come in second. Originally designed and built in Alaska (now Colorado) these can easily do class III rapids. See https://www.alpackaraft.com/rafting/welcome-alpacka-raft/ These packrafts regularly run the Grand Canyon and other kayak worthy rivers. Alpacka designs their boats to last about 10 years with normal use. Of course, these boats are priced like mountain bikes ($875 to $2,175).
