At the same age, Boomers were in a much better financial position than Millenials are today.
Millenials are on track to be the first generation in history worse off than their parents. The oldest were graduating college right around the dot-com bust. Then the ‘08 recession hit the middle and younger cohort, and now COVID is going to take another whack. Student debt has ballooned. Home affordability is down. Unemployment is higher.

I’m not saying that Bernie is the answer, nor do I support him. But if people don’t at least try to understand why Millenials are angry and frustrated, it’s going to get ugly. Dismissing it as generational lazy entitlement is, in fact, lazy and irresponsible.
