81/82 is too early for the types of people that are associated the word

millennials. Either the term is misused/misunderstood or the years are wrong. Since there really isn't anyway to rescue society's use of the terminology at this point, we really have no choice but to properly adjust the years. The common description and understanding of the millennial set type of person begins with people born around the mid to late 80s. Maybe 1985/86 is a decent cutoff. The 81/82 thing is a disconnect and common misconception.
