Ian McNabb, but most of us who were kids in the 80's remember the one hit wonder State side of Whisper to a Scream by The Icicle Works (I placed that video last for those who may have no clue what I am talking about). While that created a cult following in the US the band did keep banging away releasing albums for quite some time. McNabb was the constant force as singer songwriter and guitarist while other members of the band would leave onto other groups and projects.

here is what most people know him for, but he is truly a gifted musician. If you take the time to listen to many of the other tracks of the band and also his solo stuff. He has a huge portfolio, so it would take some time to go through it all, but it is full of pleasant surprises.
