Is Spencer Johnson a major sleeper prospect?
I had never seen any footage of Spencer play. I was familiar with his production at SLCC this year (13.4 points in 22.1 minutes, efficient shooting .511 FG% and .386 3-point%) but I had never seen any eyeball test. I just watched this footage and found myself thinking this kid could be a major sleeper. He looks very skilled, versatile, and smooth. Shows some good handles, good bounce, a really smooth shooting stroke... I really like what I see here. Good size at 6'5" for the backcourt and looks long (wingspan perhaps 6'7-6'9 I'm guessing)… this kid could be a big surprise.
