A person asked me once, aren’t you proud to be the first black coach in the SEC, and don’t you think about how great that is.
I said, no, not really. I just want to see the time when the black quarterback is a quarterback. I want to see the time where the black coach is just another coach.
This is what has to happen now. When we see wrong, we have to speak up. Don’t just be silent. Your silence allows it to grow and continue. We gotta call it out wherever we see it.
