Averette ave 5ppg at Oklahoma State. It looks like his playing time / rotation was reduced late into his Sophomore year, which led to his transfer to UVU. I'm sure he's a fine player... But let's not kid ourselves into thinking he's Hawes. TJ was a baller. Dude had ice in his veins and fire in his gut. Would take him on my team any day of the week. Averette is just another guy. I'm sure he's quick. He has to be because he can't shoot. And his A/TO ratio ain't gonna get it done. Hope he improves because WE need BYU to be good.

I've seen Harding play plenty. I stand by my assessment. Good player. Not great. Good effort. Good shot. Good teammate. Not great. Not in your face bury a 30' 3 great like Toolson. I'm not shading my defense to stop Harding on the dribble. Can he take it down the open lane? sure. So can I. But can he consistently do it off the dribble with a defender in his grill? Nope.

And for the record... are you actually bragging about your defense against Jordan Ford? Do you really want to go there? Or do I need to remind you of the 18 points Ford scored on you in the WCC tournament. Harding ended with 4 fouls and zero points. Or would you rather I mention the 18 pts he scored in Provo? How about the 24 Ford scored in Moraga. Connor sure locked him down. lol.
