Looking to switch my pool from traditional chlorine to Salt water. Looking at

Pentair IC60 unit. Looks pretty easy to make the change, any local (Northern Utah) places that sell them at a good price to o could just go pick it up. Intermountain Aquatech is about $700 more expensive than DiscountSaltPools.com

I’d pay a little more for local pickup, but not $700 more.

What is the benefit(s) of changing to salt water?

My system is old now and I am constantly pouring chlorine into it to keep it
