To answer your question, no one has to sit out this year, but with 15 players on the Roster we are likely to see the following;

1. I expect both George and Erickson to redshirt this coming season.

2. I expect Pope to play a longer bench with the starters getting a lower aggregate amount of minutes for the season.

3. I expect Pope to sit his starters more in games where the outcome is decided early.

4. I expect that practices will be spirited and at a level not seen at BYU in many, many years (probably never).

5. I expect the coachs to attach a playing time premium to good solid defense.

6. Unlike many on this board - I don't expect we will have much of a scoring drop-off (if any).

If this season gets played (which I sincerely hope it does), this will be a BYU team to remember for years (think 81', 88', 10'). It will be a tournament team for sure.
