I think many people avoid care as long as possible now in the US
especially if you have insurance. Everyone has a 6k or 3k deductible, it's not something on a 40-60k salary that is easy to absorb
along with higher real estate costs, food costs, etc.. There are problems in this industry and for everyone on the Republican side (which I'm one of them) who in the past used to scream it's all the Dem's fault. You really need to do some research, any other industry that you worked with directly who did this in the real world would really tick you off. Supply and Demand doesn't work in this industry because of the way they've put it together. Transparency and competition are squeezed out quickly by groups like the AMA. Costs never go down and hospitals and clinics have become giant profit machines for these health companies.
