The fire in our community also had spread from embers blowing in the wind - sometimes several hundred yards...
...from any other burned homes. I know that it was really windy for both the Traverse Fire and the Knolls fire. Huge blessing that this didn't happen, and they could just focus on the fire line behind the houses.
