If you add up the populations of all of those countries you just mentioned you would still have 66 million people less the the US. Not saying we don’t have huge problems with healthcare in the US, but it is much easier to implement a single payer system when the system itself is much smaller. Maybe it may be more manageable on a state by state basis. Many of our states have larger populations than some of these countries.
