I would like a hybrid set up, with the government entity being highly focused on
Preventive care and catastrophic care. The private system should be opened up to free market forces, insurance should NOT be tied to ones employer. Make it simulate to auto insurance in that regard.
It will proabbly never happen because the people on the government plan will demand care similar to the private plans. Not acknowledging that the government plan is only a safety net.
