Let’s be honest though the American people don’t want to change either.
The general public doesn’t want to deal with the hassle do insurance reimbursement. They’d be crying louder than the insurance companies.
Sure companies would adapt but the people would demand a return to having other people do it for them instead, and congress would oblige.
