I’ll be amazed if the CFB season starts and ends as scheduled.
I’m not even worried about stadiums full of people- I think most agree that’s not happening anytime soon.

I’m worried about travel, hotels and what happens when a team like Michigan State travels to Provo to play and it’s discovered 12 players just tested positive. Then they have to test the rest of the team and wait. Then the game won’t be played anyway.

We are seeing a community shut down entire business establishments when it’s discovered that one person there tested positive. What happens when a player tests positive? He’s out two weeks minimum. Then the other players need to quarantine for weeks. Either we collectively need to decide that getting this virus isn’t a death sentence and live/play through it, or we need to continue the way we’re going and act like every case is like Ebola and pull the rip cord on all plans.

Seems like CFB wants to try to act responsibly (who even knows what that means and how to do that with sports) while doing activities that will almost assuredly cause the virus to spread amongst teammates.

I need sports. I want sports. I just don’t think the current way society is going about this virus will actually allow sports. The NBA Florida bubble thing may work, but with thousands of college kids who think they’re immune to things...I’m not so sure.
