Not super recent but this article in the National Post states otherwise.


From my experience living up there most of the doctors I worked with made less than their US counterparts. Plus taxes in Alberta were 50% of their salaries once they hit 200k. Of course there are deductions but still a lot of doctors made less in Alberta than they would make in the US AND their tax burden was much higher.

There is a reason so many Canadian doctors move to the states.
