Other schools failing to survive? Someone posted above about Washington State's enormous deficit. I'm Sure there are plenty of other P5 schools in similar situations. Lets say fall and winter sports get cancelled and some Athletic Departments fold at schools like Wazzu, Oregon State, Baylor, and so on. What do their conferences do in this scenario? Bail them out somehow? Look for new additions?

I suspect BYU is in a better financial situation than most of these lower P5 schools and are more prepared for a possible cancellation of sports. If this happens and BYU survives its hard to see how BYU wouldn't be a frontrunner if these conferences did go looking for additions.
