The TE group as a whole is very deep and talented, especially compared to a couple years ago. The focus of the offseason has been trying to find ways to better use the tight end. He watched film of the top 5 NFL tight ends to see how they are being used. Here's his evaluation on the individuals in the group:

Matt Bushman - Pro scouts love his catch radius and his ability to find creases in zones. He has great hands. Clark has no plan to ever take Bushman out of the game.
Isaac Rex - He was having a great spring and believes he can be an "elite' tight end
Hank Tuipulotu - Best man to man route runner in the TE group with a lot of shake
Carter Wheat - 2nd best man to man route runner considered outstanding
Lane Lunt - Surprise walk on
