Random high school acquaintance just messaged me for my address. Havent spoken
to him in years. He is very recently divorced. He announced on facebook a few weeks back that he was going to kill himself but didn't do it. Just in a very bitter angry spot in his life. Hes always posting pictures of his ex thinking its going to help them get back together. I wasn't close to him in high school at all. Not close to him now. I'm assuming hes not sending me an announcement with how recent his divorce is. Usually thats when people ask for addresses is to announce a wedding or something...but i don't think hes got any announcements.

Do i just give him my address?

I'm kind of weirded out by it. I don't want to open something dangerous in the mail or something crazy during this guys crisis.

Do I ask him why he wants my address? Is that rude? I just don't want to do anything that sets this guy off. He recently deleted a bunch of his acquaintances on facebook but somehow i survived the cut and i have no clue why. He seems very tempermental and i just don't want to get involved in his life. He kind of scares me right now. I know that sounds harsh but i get weird vibes.

I also dont want him looking up my house on zillow just to find out how much i'm worth etc. I just can't think of a good reason to give him my address.

What does cougarboard say? Just stay silent? Ask him what for? Or just give it to him?
