McMaster was simply stating the obvious in a way that would hopefully catch people’s attention.

We have pretty much returned to life as normal right now, and COVID cases and deaths are spiking. If we South Carolinians don’t take personal responsibility, start wearing masks, and get the numbers back under control, then it won’t even be a choice for McMaster to make. He’ll be forced to shut everything back down, and everything includes football, which at this point is right around the corner.
