After the interview we chatted about the current state of BYU and UofU football and he singled out coach Roderick as one of the most influential people in his life, on and off-the-field. I know the last few years have been rough for BYU football, but it was encouraging to hear that one of our coaches was/is making a lasting impact on student-athletes. This Ute also admitted that he loved Jimmer mania and he's real high on the BYU basketball program right now. It was possibly the nicest conversation I've ever had with a Ute. Go Cougs!
