My wife and I won the lottery to see it in NYC in 2008.
We were dating and she was interning in DC. We met up in NYC and tried to see this play that everyone was talking about. We didn't have enough money to see it at full price, so we put our names in the bucket for lottery tickets.

Mine was the last name drawn--we got front row tickets for $20 each.

It was incredible. Lin-Manuel was still in the show and most of the original cast of Hamilton.

It was the first time I'd been blown away by a musical.
