I have a charcoal/wood smoker so it helps not have to babysit it. Anyway, I've had the meat on for the last 2 hours and the temps were just not raising. I was super bummed thinking I had a dud or something was wrong with the air intake. And of course as is typical in these types of circumstances the most likely answer is you are an idiot. Yep, the fan was shipped with the manual damper closed. 3 minutes later it's now at temp.
