Listed at 5-foot-8, went undrafted, and had a career high of 40 points until his age 27 season. Ended up leading the league in scoring twice (9 yrs apart!), won an MVP and 3 Lady Byngs (came 2nd 6 times), an Olympic gold medal, was the superstar of a Cup-winning team, and is in the Hall of Fame. Also noteworthy for having the most legendary quads in the NHL.
