Looking to start my tool collection. What brand is best for decent quality and
Not breaking the bank?

Obviously I would go with DeWalt or Milwaukee if money wasn't an issue, but I want more middle of the road price. I don't need to go super cheap (harbor freight) but want tools I can trust to get the job done without burning through them

For the most part it will be random around the house projects but I do have a few bigger projects coming up, but nothing too crazy.

I have heard mixed reviews on Ryobi, which is what I am currently leaning towards (in part because I also need a lawnmower as well).

Looking for:

•Decent price
•Wide enough selection for brand loyalty (so Im not mismatching, essential for cordless because I don't want 10 different battery packs floating around)
•Good quality for amateur weekend DIYer
•Made in America is a plus, but this is secondary to all the above

What say you CB?
