I went the other direction... Milwaukee/Dewalt -> Ryobi
I got tired of spending $$$ on power tools with different batteries.
I got tired of spending $$$ on batteries.
* The same battery that powers my string trimmer can also power my circular saw.
* I don't care if my wife lends my driver to the neighbor because it's not $300.
* I don't care if my kid leaves a drill outside overnight.
* Four words... cordless hot glue gun
* The Ryobi deals around fathers day are always great. This year I got two batteries and the hedge trimmer for $99.
I have a nice (well.. i think its nice) ~250sqft woodshop with some $$$ tools... My 'green wall of Ryobi' are the tools that get used the most.

Ryobi makes decent tools for the price. I haven't owned a Ryobi drill but I've have a Ryobi miter and table saw and
