Then they splice your answers onto another set of questions and somehow use it to rip you off. I didn't look into it to see if there was any truth or if it was even feasible to pull something off like that.
Anyway, a got a call from a number that is similar to someone I know. So I answered it. The recording was very lifelike and I thought it was a live person at first. A woman asked if now was a good time to talk about a business opportunity. As soon as I said, "Now is not a good time," the recording ended and the called clicked off. I don't know whether it would have continued and tried to lead me into a scam if I had said, "Yes," "OK," or "sure" or not.
