I camp a lot and use mine for river trips. I just replaced an REI Kingdom 6 we
Used multiple times a year for 6 years. Always stayed up in the wind and kept us dry in several downpours. You can stand up in it and fit 6 pretty well 5 very comfortably. These tents are far superior to what you buy at Costco in terms of design to withstand wind which is a big factor when buying large tents and zipper quality.

I like this style of tent more than canvas tents because they aren’t as hot, pack much smaller and lighter, and even though it’s not as sturdy I can replace it after 5-10 years and get the size of tent I need without spending too much. If you’re winter camping, get a canvas tent. If not, I really like the Kingdom or we just purchased a Big Agnes Big House 6 on a pro deal because it is similar and was a better price.

Also, look at getting a sand mat to put in front as a door mat/ meeting place. It will keep a lot of dirt out.

Also, bigger tents than these can be really tough to find enough space to set them up in.
