Does the third row in SUVs lay down so you can have all the room you need for
storage unless you need to fit more people?
I have been pushing my wife to trade in her minivan for something else but she won't if there are no decent storage options.

That's the biggest downfall of switching to SUV. If you still have kids, I'd stick with minivan. Can't beat
