Need low stress exercise ideas... obese and bad ankle. Peloton Bike a good idea?
So, I'm obese. Almost 41 years old. I started exercising. Walking hurts a bit in my ankle, its the next day that my ankle kills.

I'm watching what I eat and exercising. Mainly swimming and walking. Swimming causes no ankle pain. Eating right has also helped tremendously with the pain in my ankle. Losing weight has also helped with the pain.

I'm down 30 lbs over the last 3 months. And I'm trying to find another exercise to mix it up and not cause ankle pain.

So, I was wondering about getting a Peloton bike. I'm now at 295lbs. My overall goal is to get down to 200. I'm hoping to do that my mid next year (not definitive yet as currently I set goals based on how I'm feeling at the beginning of each week.)

Does anyone have experience with the Peloton bike? I don't bike regularly though I enjoyed mountain biking in my youth. My fear is that I will buy it and just not like it. But I do want to mix up my exercise routine a bit.

Any info regarding other low stress exercise on the ankle or about the Peloton Bike specifically (or another good bike) would be great. TIA
