Similar situation with us. Turns out the coolant was low and the tubes connectin
the AC to the furnace fan were frozen. The HVAC guy had us turn up the heat as high as it would go, switch all the fans to “on” and wait 5-10 mins to let it thaw. I also had to press some sort of reset button on the furnace. It took a bit, but it ended up working. He also refilled the coolant.
