“Best” is subjective to a point. Are you looking “reliable”? Or best features?

For reliability and ease of getting service when the product fails then stick with the mostly US manufactured “bottom mount/French door” Maytag, Whirlpool, and Kitchen Aid.

Many service providers won’t service the Korean brands of LG and Samsung...and they have too many service issues for over priced product.

GE is often teased in the industry for standing for “Generally Expensive" parts. Replacement parts when the units fail are expensive. Reliability of the product is ok but sometimes can seem flimsy/cheaply made. Cafe is also part of GE.

Frigidaire quality is typically inferior. However, at least them and GE will be more easy to schedule service than Samsung or LG.

Do you want to pay for a name that doesn't really do anything better than other product but pay 2-3 times as much? Look at Viking, Sub Zero, and Jenn Air. Jenn Air is actually part of the Whirlpool family but Whirlpool decided to try and make that label their ultra high end line. It makes me laugh because sometimes I look at their refrigerator shelving and it's just the same as the Amana (entry level) brand in the Whirlpool family.
