This is something I have learned in the last couple of years.
I used to think people in this situation made their own beds and deserve the consequences.
But, even has he makes good decisions, it seems impossible for him to get back on his feet.
I wish I knew of/ had more means to help him.

Our system makes it very hard for people to get back on track. I have lots of respect for the guys who are able to do it
