Nebraska makes more than $5 million per home game. That's far higher than any
guarantee they pay any teams to come in. They were going to pay South Dakota State $500,000, Central Michigan $1.3 million, and $400,000 to Cincinnati.
They don't reduce costs by cutting those games. They make far more off those games than they pay out.
