Hamilton definitely lived up to the hype. Its clear Lin-Manuel Miranda grew up in the same era I did because the sound of his music is so similar to what I listened to in the 90s and early 2000s. With many of the songs individual artists immediately popped into my head as I listened. All I'd heard going in was about the hip hop aspect of the show, but I thought the R&B with Burr, Angelica, Eliza & Washington outshined the rappers, though Lafayette/Jefferson was amazing. Such a good show.
