It has had 4 games cancelled, Fordham was the firs to cancel last week, they are an FCS program that plays in the Patriot league which declared it's teams could not fly to any games this season so obviously they couldn't go to Hawaii. Then the PAC 12 declared it would only play conference games and Hawaii was scheduled to play Arizona, UCLA, and Oregon so those obviously got cancelled.

There was a bit of speculation on CB yesterday that UH would not play this season even if the season happened which speculation I knew was not based in reality. Now UH has replaced it's FCS game so we know that they will play as long as the season actually happens.



Also my understanding is that BYU and Hawaii have discussed playing each other sometime during that first month where both lost games. I don't know if it will happen but it makes sense as both have openings now. I think some more domino's need to fall before that becomes a real possibility though. For instance if the MWC goes league only then that would eliminate BYU and Hawaii playing each other. But based on Hawaii adding the Robert Morris game it would seem to me that the MWC is not considering going league only which is a good thing for BYU since they play multiple MWC teams this season already and they can't afford to have any more games cancelled. Obviously Hawaii would be fine in that scenario but BYU would not. Speculation that BYU would replace Hawaii for a season are silly by the way, that;'s not happening. As long as there is a season Hawaii will be playing and that is straight from my son who got it straight from the Hawaii coaching staff.
