a shortened schedule with FCS and a couple of G5 teams, then the image BYU has worked to accomplish is gone. So while the P5 teams that BYU has worked hard to schedule this year play one another, BYU will be playing UMass. That doesn't seem like a good trade off. BYU is the big loser.
If games are played, I'll support BYU. But my hope is that if BYU doesn't have a schedule with at least two P5 teans and the top teams from the AAC or MW, then the football season for all teams--not just BYU--is cancelled.
