I started looking at Ford diffrent in 2015... different as in: I liked them more
In 2015 Accrua/Honda was set to launch the new NSX. They spent years (over) hyping the car. Doing things like Jerry Sienfields Superbowl commercial in 2012. So at the 2015 Detroit auto show, everybody was excited to see if the new NSX lived up to the hype.

Then at the same event, the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, Ford goes "oh.. hey... yea.. that NSX is nice... but *WAM-BAM* here is a our new Ford GT"

No press leaks. No years of build-up. Just a double finger salute to Honda and a nice side of "stay the F(ord) out of Detroit" message. The automotive press went nuts over the new Ford GT.. and the NSX has slipped into supercar obscurity.

Then the stories started coming out of the small group of Ford employees who worked on the GT and their goal of keeping fords racing/GT heritage alive.

Now this month.. with the release of the new Bronco and stories of the 'Bronco Underground' i like to think Ford is giving those same fingers to Land Rover. "oh.. hey.. yea... Land Rover, your Defender it looks cool.. and wow.. did they just hit American showrooms? *SUCKIT* here is our new Bronco".
