Let's say each parent has 100 genes. Each kid gets 50 genes from each parent
Those 50 genes from each parent are going to be different for each sibling. In fact, each sibling will share ~50% of the same genes as their siblings. Those genes will each lead to different areas. I may have gotten more Swedish genes than my sister and she may have gotten more Danish genes. However, our results should still be close to each other. Not exact, but somewhat similar.

So your experience is completely expected. If it was wildly different, then one of you was for sure adopted.
