Agreed. Some foods are metabolized differently than others.
Some promote your body to store fat rather than utilize it to build tissue expend for work, regardless of how many calories you tried to expend. Your body doesn’t just store the extra as fat.

Foods high on fat are also very satiating. While calorie dense, they also keep you from getting hungry quickly.
