and less than 20 min into the closing, and us signing paperwork, my attorney receives a call from the seller's attorney saying that they can't close. It's now Friday and my attorney still hasn't received a final payoff statement from the sellers and it sounds like the sellers may need to come up with some money in order to payoff their loan.

My realtor relayed to me a voicemail he received yesterday from the seller's realtor which said that she spoke with the seller's attorney and neither the attorney nor she knew any of this was going on. My attorney said that the seller's attorney stated that the seller is prepared to wire funds if he's short on his financial obligation.

My wife and I had to cancel a bunch of things . . . carpet installers, movers, etc. I have to go pick up a package that's being delivered there today, etc.

Frustrating.
