from you here on Cougarboard). I applied for an internship that I was technically qualified for, and after the interview they modified the position so that they could hire me (I wasn't going to be a student long enough to qualify for their internship program).
It wasn't in the field that I went to school for, but I learned a ton and it was pretty cool to work in a building where they made huge airplane parts. And for a huge company I felt like they treated employees pretty well, and the Verizon discount for Boeing employees is unbeatable (every time I went into a Verizon store the workers would comment on it).
And even though I'm back working in transportation engineering, having Boeing on my resume catches people's eyes.
