the B12 seriously approached BYU about being an 11th team in the conference for this year only, and BYU declined because existing contracts with other schools on this year's schedule?

Frankly, I believe there is zero chance of the B12 seriously approaching BYU about this, but if it were to occur, I don't see BYU bailing on the teams current on their schedule to accommodate the B12. Sad, but probably true.
