I’ve been told by everyone that I talk to that it’s a small world and if something the program doesn’t want getting out is put on CB, it’s real easy to find out who is leaking the info. I got in trouble from one of my sources for sharing his opinion because it got back to all of the coaches at BYU and Utah and made some people mad. I haven’t asked him any info since because it made our relationship a little weird when we talk about BYU and Utah football. I didn’t even share any new info than was already floating around. College athletics is a clique and it’s easy to fall out of favor with people, so people with info care a lot about how they are perceived among people in that community. I would 100% recommend to everyone who has real info to share even less than they think their source will care.
