You could tell TCU really didn't like our aspirations at being their rival
And unfortunately we didn't really didn't force them to respect us. We clearly didn't belong on the same field as them in recent years.
We had a good shot w the Riley-led team (he was both great & terrible that game, unfortunately), but that was probably their weakest team of that decade — & we still found a way to lose.
Even still, I don't think a blackball from TCU would keep us out — as much as people claim that's how the conference operates. Everyone knows Texas & Oklahoma dictate when & what that conference does.
