This is a logical fallacy. The two aren’t related, and it has nothing to do with anything.

I prefer that athletes do this than rape underage girls too, but it had nothing to do with the current argument.

But since you brought it up....
I would much rather have them protesting the anthem because that has not effect on me and other college football fans. Even more so since football players aren’t even on the field for the anthem, they’re in the locker room so for all we know there may be plenty already kneeling.
But regardless, kneeling or not doesn’t impact whether the sport I love most on earth is played or not, whereas this could destroy it...
So yea, I would much rather have them kneel during a 90 second song in the locker room than not play college football.
