This isn't professional sports. This is Amateur Sports. am·​a·​teur "one who engages in a pursuit, study, science, or sport as a pastime rather than as a profession"

The NCAA has its problems, but its first goal is to make sure 'Student' is always first in 'Studen Athlete'. Statistically, most athletes threatening to boycott in the Pac-12 will never become a Pro. If they do get their shot, most will never make it longer than 3 years.

If these amateur players want to be treated like 'professionals', then they should just be given the opportunity to quit the NCAA and try their hand at the NFL.

There are 1000's of kids fighting to get a shot at those scholarships.
